NOTARY CERTIFIED RUSSIAN TRANSLATION (TRANSLATION CERTIFIED BY A NOTARY PUBLIC OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION)
“Notary cerified”, “notarized”, “legalized” or “official” translation in Russia is a type of documents translation, performed by professionals who enter in an agreement with a notary, upon presenting their ID and language education credentials. Unlike in other countries, official translators in Russia do not have any specific legal status, assigned by state authorities.
Notary Public certification is commonly required where documents will be submitted to organisations and government authorities in Russia or abroad. These might include: personal documents (passports, birth, marriage / divorce and death certificates), documents of education, medical certificates, letters from banks, financial statements, business or other legal documents (contracts, attorneys, charters or articles of association, etc.)
